Ourika Valley Day Trip Excursion one day trip to Ourika Valley – Good for half day tour too if you have limited time: We leave Marrakesh at around 9 am and drive toward the Atlas Mountains, a favorite weekend escape for native Moroccans, the Ourika Valley is 30 km from Marrakech and rests between the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
An escape from city life, the Valley draws visitors with a welcoming atmosphere of tiny villages, steep hillsides, waterfalls, and lush green gardens.
We will stop for taking some pictures and visit the Berber villages on the way. Ourika Valley can be visited only as half day tour instead of the full day.
Lunch follows this (a short drive from the hike) in a lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the valley serving a variety of traditional Moroccan cuisine, around 5pm, we arrive back in Marrakesh.
